In the Zone

It’s 3 a.m. in the morn, Nameless is already shouting:
“Get out of the way and let me write my story!”
It’s been days of dilly-dallying;
Avoidance persistent

It’s happened once before; the hijacking
A character once held me captive in a place
Where sense of time disappears
– Unimaginable ecstasy

Bitter wind wailing outside is no concern of mine
As lips curl into a smile for I know a secret;
I’m about to enter the zone

note: I’ve been so busy of late, and unfortunately with things that don’t inspire much creativity. I miss the creative and inventive process of writing, and the utter joy of being in the moment.
