If truth not be found
embedded in this mass, then
despair ought to bloom

The Magical World

Note: Books and I; ours is a symbiotic relationship. Sumana over at Poets United, asks us to share our experiences of this magical world. And as you can see, I like mine physical.

  1. Even fantasy literature can give us insight how to live our lives as well. You never know when something you have read might be relevant to you in the future.

  2. Thought-provoking haiku. Yes, one would hope to find truth in literature or at least the author’s own truth. What a lovely office. This is Loredana from Magic of Words. Thank you for visiting 🙂

    1. Hi Loredana! I much fappreciate your visit, thank you. I agree, author’s own truth at least, ought to be found in literature. If not, then the mission of finding it lies in the hands of the writer.

  3. Well, I guess you have to keep reading and restocking this room with more books. The truth will be revealed. But until then, do not despair.
Enjoyed your words and the picture of your haven.

  4. I am envious of your office and bookshelves. I had a wall of loved books in my last place but had to get rid of them all when I moved. Now I have two bookcases full, not nearly enough!

    1. Don’t be envious, Sherry 😊 my collection is not as big as in the picture. This is a library office, I just happen to spend lots of my free time there. Perhaps, I should have become a librarian. 😀

    1. Once again, for some reason I cannot click on like. There is a message that it is “loading,” but it never loads so that I can actually “like” your post. But I give your haiku two thumbs up! 🙂
